There is a dual nature within all of us. A naturally juxtaposed intuition in which we're constantly trying to find balance within our journey. There's something to be said about the constantly conflicting messages that we're receiving from the media, advertising, and general prototypes on how to live our lives the "right way", Cosmopolitan-style.
What I've come to realize is that there are always two sides to every story, and a balance within our duality. There will be good times, hard times, periods of adjustment, and times when we're just spiraling out of control. Without feelings such as "hate", "love" would be the force of life that is taken for granted. It's all part of the process.
This is what I really want to be writing about. Rather than "Tweeting", I want to be projecting this energy into writing. Writers often go in and out of times of writing, probably depending on what kind of "life cycle" we are in. Depending on how distracted we are with the mundane regiments of daily life. Depending on how much we're drinking... (and being total cliches)
Writing is the ultimate form of constructive social media. Putting yourself out into the world, and having somebody actually pick up what your feeling and thinking, seems socially ideal. Let the people in who are willing to pick you up, and put their time and energy into you. Otherwise, they're just aimlessly scrolling past your worth. Too often we use each others physical company for selfish frontiers. Bell Hooks said,
“Knowing how to be solitary is central to the art of loving. When we can be alone, we can be with others without using them as a means of escape.”
The "Lone Wolf" knows them-self. We should be aware of how much energy we are taking from others, and how much, or how little we give. Reading into somebody who's put themselves out there, is productive energy resource. Energy sharing. Balance.
I have very little interest in fashion blogging, or talking about celebrities. I want to write about life, music, beautiful places, and how they all intertwine. How they celebrate each other while transforming into an enigmatic life force. About the poetic balance of life, and everything in between. The Whiskey and the Wanderlust.
